Its been a mixed couple of weeks, to say the least.

Good Things:

-Finished the first draft of the first episode of my first sitcom podcast, and sent it to peoples to read last week. One friend already sent feedback, yay!

-Was feeling a little tired yesterday, but I went to a Steampunk meetup anyway. And it was sho much fun! I geeked out with all new people! Who also think SP has gone too brown! And we were excited about books and pockets!

-Finally saw How to Train Your Dragon, where the main dragon looks a lot like my family cat. Black with green eyes, likes chin scritches, d'awww.

-Pants getting looser, tummy not agonizing me all the time. Yay!

-Hazlenut milk is cheaper than I expected, and is good for making hot chocolate. Nom.

-Having more luck eating things not on the L1D food list, tho noticing that some things still make me sleepy. Especially teh sugar, like woah.

-Wicked Faire is just over two weeks away!

-Reserved a room for Steampunk World's Fair, in one of the main hotels, right before they ran out.

-Cleaned the apartment over the weekend, in advance of Imbolc.*

-Did not get a sinus infection.*

-Did not freak out as much as usual.*

Not So Good Things:

-*GIANT F'ING ROACH ATTACK on Thursday night. Which is what sparked the crazy cleaning and could have caused me a sinus infection with all the chemicals and, eek, roach. I think I hit it with the spray, after spraying down the entire kitchen, but when my friend came over to help me calm down we didn't manage to find the body. So the ickiness is still technically at large.

-Chantry still smells like Raid, b/c cleaning behind the oven and fridge is annoying.

-Had to throw out a bunch of un-salvageable (but not difficult to replace) stuff that got hit by the roach spray during my anxiety frenzy.

-Starting to feel run down again, with moar migraines. Brain fog is coming back, but still not as bad as it was in 2011. Possibly due to fun projects keeping me up past my bedtime.

-Wicked Faire is only two weeks away! I need to make stuff! And they're not returning my emails. And I only found out about sponsorship this week, and I have no money leftover at this point to participate.

-Still no news on whether or not I'm vending at SWF. I suspect something external has gone wrong with the Wicked Faire chain of command, but ... I still need to know stuff u guys :-/

This week is about buckling down to do the thing you've resolved to do. But really, all that I've resolved to do is be healthy again. So this week I'm going to keep taking it easy, not stress out about my upcoming vendor engagement. Get to bed on time again. However, that should be getting priority over script writing right now, but the potential podcast is the shiny new project, so ... argh. And I have trouble focusing on it while I'm on break at work.

Other things that need doing = cataloging and photographing teh latest craftwork, even if its just for my records rather than teh Etsy shop. I'm not doing any Etsy updates before Wicked, would be silly if I just sell the piece at the con anyway.

In long-term plans I'm also looking into setting up my own website for sales. Along side the Etsy shop until they shut down all the actual artisans, b/c Etsy seems to be on a downward spiral of lame now. And yet scammers can still sell designer knock off bags so long as they label them "vintage"? WTH?

But yay, its Imbolc this week. Ima light some candles and do some craft work, now that the house is already clean. Goddesses LUV craft work! And protecting their novitiates from giant bugs I hopes.
